The Importance of School Quality and Services

In order to maintain the confidence of the government and the public, the schools must continuously upgrade their quality and their services. In order to do so, equipment, funds, and human resources also have to be upgraded and solid planning and management maintained.

Another challenge is the ever keener competition among schools, considering that at Pondok Gede the number of schools is growing rapidly. Therefore, if the schools organized by the Pa van der Steur Foundation are to have the continuing confidence of the public, there is no other choice but to be the best.

In facing these challenges, the Pa van der Steur schools have a solid basis, namely land, premises and the availability of various facilities, e.g. a library, a laboratory, a polyclinic (dispensary), as well as an auditorium. These facilities must be utilized as well as possible in order that they can be used to upgrade the quality of the schools. As well as this, good relations with the public as well as with parents and the Government should also be continuously fostered.
